Regarding the promise that Hashem will refund you the money spent for food for Shabbat and Yom Tov, does that also apply to Chol HaMoed or not. Also, does he refund you only for kosher food eaten on Shabbat , or does He refund you for non-kosher food as well. Thanks a lot.

According to the Rabbis the outlays that are returned to the spender are for paying for Torah teachers, Shabbat and Yom Tov expenses. There is a disagreement amongst the authorities as to whether Chol HaMoed is included in this or not. There is no disagreement that non-Kosher food is definitely not included.
