Wisdom

Question:
I am looking for a definition, in the context of religion, of wisdom.

AskTheRabbi.org answered:

Wisdom is the wisdom of the Torah. This includes all the "wisdoms" of the world, but also includes a higher wisdom that only the Creator can teach us via the Torah and the way the Prophets and Sages trandsmitted it from generation to generation since the giving of the Torah at Sinai.

I highly suggest at least three books that I think you will find very helpful and interesting: The Stone Chumash. The Book of Proverbs, and Gateway to Judaism - all published by ArtScroll Publishers and available at local bookstores or www.artscroll.com
